Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Today service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Today is a daily planning tool that aggregates your Google Calendar events and Google Tasks into a single, focused view. The Service allows you to:

• View your calendar events for the current day
• View overdue and due-today tasks
• Create new tasks in your chosen Google Tasks list
• Mark tasks as completed

3. User Accounts

The Service uses Google OAuth for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Google account credentials. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service, except through the intended Google API integrations
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and content (excluding your personal data), is owned by the operator of Today and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Your data remains yours. All calendar events, tasks, and personal information accessed through the Service belong to you and are subject to your Google account terms.

6. Service Availability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, or error-free operation. We may suspend or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice. We are not liable for any loss or damage caused by the unavailability of the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of Today shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by signing out and revoking access via your Google account settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, with or without cause. Upon termination, your authentication tokens and preferences will be deleted from our database.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
